BurroFest is one of Mancos’ most beloved traditions—a joyful celebration that brings our community together through art, local food and drink, and of course, our famous burros. Each year, BurroFest lights up historic downtown while raising vital support for the Mancos Creative District.

Local business sponsorships make BurroFest possible. When you become a sponsor, you’re not only supporting a signature community event—you’re also putting your business front and center with thousands of attendees.

$1,500+ MainStage Sponsor

• Choice of: become the official sponsor of a Burro OR join the fun as a live obstacle in the Burro obstacle course

$1,000+ Burro Sponsor 

• Be paired with and named the official sponsor of one of our unique burros

Special Early Bird Offer

Contribute in 2025 and receive these additional perks: 

• 25% Colorado State Enterprise Zone tax credit on your 2025 taxes (25% of the value of your contribution gets taken off of your state taxes) 
• limited-edition BurroFest 2025 t-shirt 
• recognition in both 2025 & 2026 marketing

(Sponsorships of $250 or more qualify for the state tax credit. 2026 sponsorships will also quality for a 25% credit on 2026 state taxes.)

$50 Burro Handler Suggested Donation

• In recognition of the time, travel, and care it takes to participate as a burro handler, we are waiving the registration fee that was required in previous years. While registration is now free, we welcome donations from handlers who are able and interested.
