Misha's birthday fundraiser for Local Theater Co

My birthday is this month and as Local turns 13, I'm turning 30!

(If you haven't seen "13 going on 30" this if your cue to go watch it now, it's a classic)

Help me celebrate by making a donation to Local Theater Company for Colorado Gives Day. 

Our goal is to raise $35,000 and I have a mini goal of raising $500. 

Since my first show with Local in 2017 I have had the joy and privilege of helping bring 10 world premiere plays and over 30 staged readings to life. All untold stories that needed to be told! 

A donation to Local means:

- Jobs for artists. Last year we employed over 140 people and at least 90% of our artists live right here in Colorado!

- Free education programs for middle school students. Our LocalWRITES program teaches literacy through playwrighting at no cost to schools or students.

- New plays! Everything we do is brand new, we are working with playwrights on the cutting edge of theater who are developing their plays, responding to our world in real time and expanding which stories get to be told and experienced.

-Community. We invite our audiences to be part of the new play development process and to connect during audience engagement events. I have found my community at Local!

I have seen first hand how every dollar truly does count (it's not just a line!). When we all give a little we can do a lot. If you are able to, please consider including Local in your year end giving.
