Melissa's Fundraiser for StableStrides

Hi and thanks for visiting my fundraising page for StableStrides. At StableStrides, we provide health and healing through horses. People of all ages and all different backgrounds come to StableStrides to restore hope, renew their sense of being, and regain their independence.

As you may know, I have worked at StableStrides for almost eight years now. During this time, I have seen horses help people bring profound, positive change to their own lives. Whether its a military veteran dealing with trauma, a child battling autism, a teen being held back by depression and anxiety, or someone trapped in the cycle of substance abuse, horses have a way of helping us help ourselves. I whole-heartedly believe in the horses ability to help people find health and healing because I have seen it with my own eyes, time and time again. 

As a nonprofit, StableStrides keeps the cost clients pay for services as low as possible. In fact, most clients receive discounted services based on their income level. This means StableStrides has to ask individuals and businesses for donations to help cover the gap between what a client pays for services ($38 per session) and what it actually cost to provide that service ($136 per session).

This is why I am asking for your help. If you will help me raise $250 to support StableStrides, I will donate an additional $250. That means every dollar you donate turns into two dollars! Come on folks, we can do this! Let's change lives together!
