A Week That Changes Everything

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand the laughter, courage, and healing that unfold when children facing cancer can simply be kids again. One story from this summer stands out. Weary from chemotherapy, a brave camper arrived at Camp Wapiyapi hesitant and unsure. Surrounded by friendship and encouragement, he grew stronger each day - climbing higher with renewed confidence. By week’s end, he stood tall on the high-ropes course, cheered on by friends. He left happy and stronger in spirit, ready to face his next hospital visit with hope.

That’s the kind of healing no medicine can provide. 💛
