The word ‘prodigy’ means: A young person endowed with exceptional abilities. The organization ‘Prodigy’ was crafted by a team of educators on the conviction that the city’s next great contributors are already here: the young adults just beyond our periphery, those disconnected from our institutions. These are the city’s unlikely prodigies.
Prodigy's partners at CAP Logistics are offering a $1 for $1 match for the first $7500 raised during the Colorado Gives Day campaign. Your money goes twice as far through December 10 with this generosity!
Your gift helps supports Prodigy’s apprenticeship program which is designed to address the complexity of challenges faced by youth in our community and takes advantage of the unique opportunities that exist in Colorado’s economy which is primed for middle skill workers. In our nine year history we have achieved proof of concept. We have trained over 250 young adults and hired 120 apprentices. Prodigy has put more than $2.5 million in wages back into the community, providing young adults, 18-24 years old with access to meaningful work.
