For over 30 years, Denver CASA has partnered with Denver Juvenile Court to provide a critical voice for survivors of trauma, loss, abuse and neglect.

CASA Volunteers are trained, long-term volunteers who spend an average of 18 months advocating for one child in the court system. In 2025, 188 CASA volunteers contributed 5,314 hours of service (an estimated value of over $167,444 of donated time). The time they spend with each child’s case saves the time and expense of paid professionals. Unlike paid professionals, CASA Volunteers only have one case to focus on and can form supportive and meaningful bonds with children, youth and families.

We understand the importance of seeking out compassionate volunteers who reflect the communities we serve. CASA Volunteers have the unique opportunity to connect with a child or youth. Supporting communities through transformational advocacy is an opportunity to change a child's story.

CASA Volunteers are:

  • Consistent adults in the lives of the child or youth
  • Advocates for their best interests
  • The “eyes and ears” of the court

CASA Volunteers provide the support and advocacy necessary to change a child's story.

I'm asking for your help to ensure Denver CASA can continue providing these essential services. State and federal funding cuts have been felt around the country and yet cases are continually getting more complicated. Your matched contribution could not come at a more important time. Thank you for your support.
