Fortified Academy CDL Training Scholarship

Fortified Academy is gearing up to make 2026 our best year yet. Your contribution will go towards making an impact in the lives of men and women who are essential to the workforce and the Colorado economy.

With over 30 years of combined experience in mentorship, counseling, and workforce development, the Fortified Academy team knows what it takes to change lives. We’ve seen firsthand the power of peer coaching, accountability, and community—and how these tools can turn past pain into a purpose-driven future.  What started as a path to personal financial stability has evolved into a life-changing program. Our Competency-Based apprenticeships in CDL and construction, offer more than just training—they offer a second chance. Through CDL licensure, construction certification, mentorship, peer coaching, and holistic care, we’ve helped over 100 apprentices reenter society with dignity, purpose, and career-ready skills.

Suggested contributions:

1st Gear - $11,400

The full cost of the tuition for the 4 week pre-apprenticeship program including life skills such as in financial literacy, conflict resolution, mental health support for dealing with the realities of job, safety protocols for drivers and motorists to reduce accidents, ongoing peer to peer mentorship, interview prep, and resume building.

2nd Gear - $5700

50% of the tuition cost

3rd Gear - $1000 

Dignity fund to support students transitioning from extended unemployment or job loss, justice impacted individuals who need basic resources such as temporary housing, professional clothing, food and transportation assistance, hygiene kits, and other services. 

4th Gear - Monthly giving

Colorado Gives matches up to $100 in recurring donations, please consider monthly giving of any amount. 

Everyone who makes a contribution during the Colorado Gives Campaign  will be invited to the Fortified Academy headquarters and training facility at our Spring Open House event in 2026.
