Why?

JEWISHcolorado is hosting the Jewish Days of Giving from May 18-20, 2026, in collaboration with Colorado Gives Foundation to support Jewish life statewide. It’s more important now than ever to support the Jewish community and we hope this giving event created in the spirit of Tzedakah will strengthen and unite our statewide Jewish community. Jewish Days of Giving will raise awareness and amplify philanthropic support for all participating organizations while celebrating the values of our Jewish community.

JEWISHcolorado is proud to offer a Community Match that offers each participating organization a match for online donations made throughout May 18-20.

And on this special occasion, Colorado based Jewish nonprofits are organized in one place, making it easy to find something you’re passionate about. No matter who you give to or how much you give, the result is the same - we all get to celebrate the vibrancy of Jewish life throughout Colorado.

Why Ekar?

Your support of Ekar Farm fuels community gardening, food access and justice, and environmental education. Together, we grow and distribute fresh, organic produce to those who need it most—at no cost—while building meaningful connections to Jewish agricultural traditions.

At Ekar Farm, we cultivate community alongside our crops. Rooted in Jewish values of sustainability, equity, and tikkun olam, we create a vibrant, inclusive space where people come together to learn, volunteer, and care for the land. Thousands of community members join us each year—sharing meals, working side by side in the soil, and building relationships that strengthen both individual and collective well being.

Food access is at the heart of our work. Through partnerships with local organizations and our no-cost distribution programs, we ensure that fresh, culturally relevant produce reaches families who might not otherwise have access. At the same time, our educational programs empower youth and adults with the knowledge and skills to grow, cook, and engage more deeply with their food systems.

Ekar is a place for anyone seeking connection through land and learning—gardeners, families, educators, environmental advocates, and community members of all backgrounds. Whether you're getting your hands in the soil for the first time or deepening a lifelong commitment to food justice, there is a place for you here.

Join us in growing a more just, connected, and nourished community—where everyone has access to fresh food and a place to belong.
