Give the hope of recovery to moms!!

I’m Socorro Gill, president and founder of TLC Squared Ministries and author of “Confessions of a Mother’s Heart”.  At TLC Squared we are passionate about recreating homes one family at a time by sharing the love of Christ through “teaching, loving and connecting”.

After overcoming major struggles w/PPD (postpartum depression) and anxiety that first came to light in 2008 and assisting my oldest daughter through her first pregnancy and becoming a grandparent in March of 2023 I was inspired to become a certified doula through DONA international.

Since then, my passion for providing a more holistic support system to moms and their families was born.  This endeavor helped complete the vision God empowered me to give life to in 2015 when I first began giving care packages to moms to help them feel loved and supported during their pregnancy and beyond.  

At TLC Squared our goal, through our doula services, is to recreate homes through the birthing and postpartum experience by teaching individuals or families about the birthing process, loving them through prayer and connecting them to local perinatal and postpartum resources and churches in the name of Christ.

Doulas can be a great help to moms-to-be and their family before, during and after the birth of their baby!  

According to Merriam-Webster's definition, a doula is a person trained to provide advice, information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a mother before, during, and just after childbirth.  

ALL TLC Squared ministries are Relationship & Outreach based:

We provide professional birth education and Doula services;

We facilitate COMH-unity, Confessions of a Mother’s Heart Groups - Regular gathering of mothers who are seeking peer-to-peer encouragement in parenting, spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities via personal testimonies, book studies, and building mentor or peer advisor relationships. Free!

We give away Home Care Kits – A free love gift given to moms as an outreach opportunity to raise positive awareness of Perinatal and Postpartum Mood challenges and give hope.  Free!

Tea ‘n Talk – Events presented in public places like Natural Grocers, Senior Centers and/or libraries, to allow for organic relationships to develop within the local community. Free!

TLC Squared is currently raising funds to help fully fund all our initiatives for 2025-2026:

1. Operational expenses ($3500) that cover accounting services, website maintenance, office supplies, insurance and marketing .

2. COMH- Unity Groups ($4600 annually) - Confessions of a Mother’s Heart groups are free regular monthly in person and virtual gatherings of mothers who are seeking peer-to-peer encouragement in parenting, spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities via personal testimonies, book studies, and building mentor or peer advisor relationships. 

3. Tea ‘n Talk Events ($1600) - They are free quarterly social or educational events to allow people to connect with one another and build a sense of community. 

4. Home Care Kits – ($12,500) They are part of the Confessions of a Mother's Heart Ministry (COMH).  They are given to new moms and continuing moms on an as-needed basis or when the opportunity presents itself.  The raise positive awareness of perinatal and postpartum mood challenges and give the hope of recovery to moms that want peer or mentor support in their parenting journey.
