Center for Community Wealth (CCW) and community partners have committed to bring to life the Collective Economics Innovation Hub. We cannot do this without you!  Your gift will help turn community-led design into reality and ensure that the Collective Economics Innovation Hub opens its doors as a beacon of opportunity, collaboration and hope. 

The purpose of the Hub is to ignite cooperative entrepreneurship, unite small businesses to harness shared power and scale, and cultivate a vibrant community space in the heart of the historic Welton St. corridor where local, BIPOC, and immigrant business owners can access resources, tools, and networks to achieve collective prosperity. 

By focusing on collective economics, the Hub will center efforts by our cooperative development team to create more worker-owned businesses to spread the community wealth building opportunities of business ownership more broadly to marginalized entrepreneurs from communities of color. It will provide space for programs led by our BIPOC small business development team to help small businesses strengthen their business fundamentals, connect with other business owners for collaboration, information sharing, and networking, and learn how to engage larger customer bases to grow their markets. 

Based on design input from our worker owners and small business partners, it will provide dedicated space and technical training to help them develop marketing materials in a variety of media to promote and market their work, as well as a planned market corner for businesses working with CCW to sell their products. A large gathering space will provide ample room for networking events, as well as customer engagement opportunities such as tasting demonstrations for our catering partners. The space will also provide floating and dedicated desks and office space for partner businesses to host team meetings, meet with clients, and for individual and small group work.
