Honor Jeremy Campbell's life.

Jeremy rode with us for 13 years. We saw him grow from a shy little boy to a confident young man. He developed a special relationship with his horses and our staff. Our community has been in shock after hearing the news that his life was taken due to violence, and we wanted to create a space here for others to honor his legacy. We are all in need of healing through horses, which is what we provide at StableStrides. 

People of all ages and all different backgrounds come to StableStrides to restore hope, renew their sense of being, and gain or regain their independence. 

Our History:

StableStrides is a 501(c)3 charitable organization with the mission to significantly improve the lives of individuals through a connection with horses. This is accomplished by providing equine-assisted activities and therapies including mental health therapy; physical, occupational, and speech therapy; and adaptive riding.

We serve a broad population: children/youth, adults, seniors, active-duty service members, veterans, and military family members who have physical, developmental, or mental health disabilities, symptoms, and/or conditions. These include, but are not limited to, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress symptoms and disorder, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, autism, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, paralysis, amputation, brain injury, orthopedic injury, stroke, and hearing, visual, and speech impairments.

StableStrides works diligently to keep the fee for services as low as possible. In fact, 98% of all clients receive discounted services. It costs StableStrides an average of $136 to provide each therapeutic session (horse care, arena time, therapist fee, staff support, and admin). StableStrides receives an average revenue of $38 per session in fees for services. The result is a $98 funding gap for each session provided! StableStrides must rely on contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations to fill this gap and ensure the program remains available. StableStrides also provides financial scholarships to low-income clients who would otherwise not be able to afford services. 

Jeremy's Legacy Fund:

When you give to this fund, we aim to use each donation to support riders who need scholarships. Please know that caring for our horses is our first priority (without them, we have no classes), so we may also use your donation to feed and care for the horses first and then generate a scholarship.
