Soles for Survivors!

Project Safeguard provides lifesaving legal services to persons who have experienced gender-based violence (domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking and/or human trafficking). Having access to free civil legal advocacy and attorney services is creating safety and a path to healing. In 2025, PSG supported nearly 650 individuals with safety planning, legal clinics, court support, and/or attorney services. 

It's an honor to serve as the Executive Director and I am beyond grateful to work alongside an amazing and dedicated team of staff and board. The support we receive from our community is also invaluable. I am not going to sugar coat it; it continues to be a challenging time for non-profits and service providers with threats to and experiencing significant losses of funding. We are challenged in our ability to meet the needs of survivor/victims with fewer financial and human resources.

Darren and I running the 5k (and no I am not a runner but will do my best) and one of our kids is participating in the marathon relay. 

I am truly grateful to the 28 people who have signed up to participate in one of the many Colfax races this year and who selected PSG as their charity partner.  If you are in the Denver area race weekend, please come out to cheer on all the runners and stop by PSG's tent at Charity Village (Denver City Park) and say hi to PSG staff and board.
