30 dogs have found their way to CLAWA rescue, Maxfund, and Saving Dobermankind.  Thank you to Theresa and Susie for all their help, and Cooper's for providing space and organization to this endeavor.  And take a look at this one lucky pup that found a home.

Also, want to let you know the spay/neuters are getting scheduled for all of them and of course any additional vaccinations needed (they were vaccinated for some on intake).

We are grateful for the media's attention to our efforts to assist these dogs in need. However, we want to make it clear that this is not a story about hoarding. Our primary goal is to provide aid to both the pets and their owners. We urge you to donate generously so that we can ensure that these animals receive necessary medical care, including spaying, neutering, and vaccinations, and are placed in loving homes. We want to emphasize that we harbor no ill will toward the individuals involved. Our sole intention was to provide assistance to both the pets and people during a difficult time.

Coopers Companions and CLAWA volunteers pulled 30 pups today.  See the video of the dogs currently looking for rescue.

All these dogs were tagged and have a safe landing.  We need to recoup today's costs.  Please help!

There are more but this took us to a manageable place to work with the folks on the property and get the rest of the pups taken care of.  Will continue to update!

A large group of dogs desperately need rescue.  You can help.  The Colorado rescue community is banding together to get 40+ dogs into foster or adoption ASAP. Rescues are banding together to help these dogs and find them loving homes as they pull them.

These dogs are being pulled from a property where the owner has gotten into an overwhelming situation.  We don't need to reprimand this person, we need to focus on saving these dogs!

Currently, rescues are pooling resources for spay/neutering, any medical needs, flea baths, and foster support for these dogs.  Can you help?

Costs on this can range once we have possession of the dogs.  On the first visit, they were happy, friendly, and generally looked to be in fair or good health.  no major issues were observed, but we'll update if we find we have more needs than stated here.

For retrieving them, getting them med checked, bathed/groomed, vaccinated and spayed, and neutered we are estimating $250 per dog.  So we are asking to raise $10,000 assuming we get only 40 (although we believe we have a slightly higher number than that).

Colorado has a strong compassionate community of rescues, fosters, and adopters, these Colorado dogs in Pueblo need you now.

Every penny will go to helping these dogs, if we have any funds left over, they will be distributed to the organizations that stepped up to help.

Current participants in this lifesaving initiative are:

Cooper's Companions

CLAWA

White Rose Sanctuary

Saving Doberman Kind

Maxfund

No Kill Colorado (NKC) already paid for the first 36 vaccinations.  NKC is not accepting any of these funds, just distributing the funds to the organizations for the care of these dogs.  Your generosity will go directly to help these dogs.

No Kill Colorado is 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Colorado homeless pets.  EIN: 46-2180014

NKC has no paid employees, ALL donations go to lifesaving programs.
