The ghost light is about to turn off, and the stage is about to be set for Autistic Wings' first spring recital. For many of our dancers, this is their very first time stepping into the spotlight. The very first bow on stage. The first curtsey. The first time hearing the roaring crowd after a piece. The very first time getting flowers. The very first, but certainly not the very last.
It might not be the ENT, but our in-house recital is still special to these dancers who have never before even thought that they might be able to perform in front of anyone. These dancers have been working hard on learning and memorizing their recital pieces, and can't wait to show it off.
But we need you're help.
Autistic Wings is a 100% scholarship dance studio. Not a single dancer in our studio pays the full cost of tuition, and many are on full scholarship. Our staff is paying for many of the costumes and props for this recital out of pocket. Your gift today will go to helping pay for recital, roses for our dancers, and a small celebration so that the families can celebrate this first with their dancer. Leftover funds will go to our General Fund, making sure we can continue to offer reduced tuition to anyone who needs it.
