Annual Gardening Program Fundraiser

At Mountain Sage, our school Gardening Program is a year-long part of the curriculum. Students in all grades learn about gardening and sustainability through planting, tending, and cultivating the school garden through all seasons. They celebrate the harvest in the fall, learn planning and sprouting seeds in the winter, and get their hands dirty with garden prep and planting in the spring. 

Each year, we celebrate the work and student effort of the garden with our Annual Plant Sale Fundraiser. Seedlings the students have planted and grown sell for a suggested donation in hopes of raising enough money to cover the cost of materials for the garden, which seem to grow bigger than the plants themselves! This year, we are excited to offer another option to support the Gardening Program in addition to attending the plant sale: direct donations.

If you are unable to purchase a plant for any reason, or would like to give a little extra, please support our Garden Fundraiser today! Donations of all sizes will sow the seeds of support we need to ensure our beloved Mountain Sage Garden grows and thrives for years to come.

If we exceed our $2,000 goal and additional funds aren’t needed for the Gardening Program, we’ll use it in other areas of our school; as a public school, there are always places that could use extra financial support.
