Boulder Mountain Warriors

Boulder Mountain Warriors has been nurturing the health and happiness of Boulder County youth for over a decade, through its long term approach to developing young runners. Founded by legendary Boulder High School alum Melody Fairchild, the first high school girl in U.S. history to break ten minutes for two miles and 8-time Colorado State Champion, the BMW Run Club began shaping the youth running community in Boulder County in 2013 and seeks to provide after school athletics to any youth in our community, regardless of finances. BMWS uses running as a tool for building character, compassion, confidence, grit and resilience. We meet kids where they are: those new to running on up to those seeking competition at the national level. We strive for personal excellence, not perfection; when kids are expected to give their best, their best gets better, and that intention has a ripple effect for the rest of their lives. We want to give more kids the opportunity to show the world who they are, through running. 

Bridges of Opportunity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, serves as the fiscal sponsor for the nonprofit work of Boulder Mountain Warriors.  All gifts and donations are tax-deductible.
