The Light for The Way Scholarship Fund

The Light For The Way Scholarship Program offers up to 10 free, faith-based counseling sessions for people in our community who are otherwise unable to afford counseling that aligns with their Christian worldview. Poverty presents multifaceted challenges, and we have observed that individuals living in or near poverty are unable to afford counseling that is in alignment with their Christian faith and also walks with them relationally to overcome deeply rooted obstacles.

While we are not focused primarily on lifting our clients out of poverty, we recognize the impact of how they cope with their suffering, often developing patterns that keep them stuck in cycles of hardship. By asking thoughtful, compassionate questions and providing educational guidance, we walk alongside them in a journey of healing. Through a deeper relationship with God and an intentional community of support, we empower our clients to confront their pain, process their trauma, and move forward in faith. We help them see the beauty of who they were made to be, the dignity that they were created with, the love of their Father God, and the deeply beautiful (but not pain-free or simple) life He invites us into.
