Donate $150 to Join the 150 League!

Have you enjoyed a cool drink or snack while sitting on the Rock Ledge House front porch? Viewed the Labor Day Base Ball game from the rock wall in front of the house? Or wondered at the marvelous coolness within the root cellar? To keep these elements of the Rock Ledge House’s story alive for future generations of visitors, we are raising money for these preservation projects.

Original photos of the Rock Ledge House show the Chambers family and their guests enjoying leisure time on their spacious front porch. Preservation work on the porch will ensure that this space continues to be a place of rest and relaxation for visitors for years to come.

Quarried from local stone, the wall in front of the Rock Ledge House has served to elevate the house in its surroundings and provide additional space for recreation. Your contributions will help us to maintain and reinforce this significant piece of Rock Ledge Ranch history.

Built into the hill behind the house, the root cellar served an important role at Rock Ledge Ranch during the Chambers’ time, keeping everything from milk to homemade jams and jellies cool and ready to serve and share. Preservation work on the root cellar will enable visitors to experience this space for themselves once again.

Your donation of $150 will directly support these preservation projects, and by joining the 150 League you are contributing to the future of the Rock Ledge House.  Donors in the 150 League will be recognized at a special end of campaign event in early 2026.  Thank you for your support!
