The Denver Actors Fund started June 1, 2013 with an all-star karaoke night at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse that raised $900 in seed money for a new nonprofit aimed at helping Colorado theater artists pay down their medical bills. Since then, the charity founded by John Moore and Christopher Boeckx has distributed $1.18 million to more than 500 local theater artists. To celebrate our birthday, we want to know if we can find 1,000 people to mark 10 years with a $10 donation. Will you be one of them?
