Halo Smart Sensor and Campus Safety Project - increase campus safety with technology upgrades

$10,880

raised by 49 people

$42,000 goal

Caprock Academy intends to install Halo Smart Sensors in hard to monitor areas throughout the campus.  These sensors will play a critical role in ensuring student safety as well as expediting emergency response.  The sensors can detect gunshots, aggression, poor air quality and more.  They also communicate directly with our emergency response team as well as local dispatch.

We also intend to install an array of interior and exterior cameras to complement the Halo Sensors and exterior lighting upgrades.   Cameras will be placed in public areas and used to monitor traffic through the school and its grounds.  Cameras will not be used to surveil sensitive areas such as individual classrooms, locker rooms or bathrooms.

A very generous $25,000.00 commitment from one of our Caprock Academy families has put this project within reach.  However, we need your help to fully fund this project.   The total project cost is estimated at $67,000.00.  We need your help to raise the remaining $42,000.00.

Your donation to the Halo Smart Sensor and Campus Surveillance project will directly support a safer student experience.  100% of your gift will be applied to the project cost.   Please help us ensure student safety by giving today.
