RADY MOTHER & CHILD CENTER

• Upgrade delivery, prenatal, and neonatal equipment to ensure safe beginnings for ~8,000 newborns each year
• Reinforce emergency readiness with advanced resuscitation technology in the Newborn Treatment Room
• Ensure the right level of neonatal care at the
• right moment across three nursery levels, from
• routine care to on-the-spot resuscitation

PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY ROOM

• Meet Jerusalem’s pediatric emergency needs in a city where nearly 40% of residents are children —and over half rely on Hadassah Mount Scopus
• Enhance vital care for thousands of children with advanced monitoring, anesthesiology, and imaging systems
• Deliver urgent, life-saving round-the-clock care to up to 18,000 children annually, through 10 treatment bays, a resuscitation bay, and a dedicated sedation room

HERMAN DANA DIVISION OF CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

• Expand staff to increase treatment capacity (currently at 20,000+ annually) to respond to Israel’s mental health crisis
• Strengthen trauma response through specialized training to respond to nearly 19,900 young victims, including 120 children each week in the Pediatric PTSD Unit.
• Expand complementary therapies like music and art to help young patients heal, ease anxiety, and regulate emotions

PEDIATRIC CARDIAC CRITICAL CARE UNIT (PCCCU) 

• Strengthen critical cardiac care for more children through enhanced technology and expanded capacity
• Ensure unintpuerrupted, lifesaving care for critically ill children with new priority equipment — including NICU beds, mobile ventilators and bedside ultrasounds
• Enable faster, more coordinated care through modernized workspaces that uphold dignity for families
