Stand Up For Women; Stand Against Domestic Violence

My daughters are the most important people in my life, and I want them to grow up in a world where they and all women are safe and their dignity honored. Unfortunately domestic violence is a threat to so many women's safety and dignity. It discriminates against no one, reaching across the economic and social spectrum.

I am privileged to serve on The Crisis Center's Board of Directors. The Crisis Center is Douglas County's only domestic violence shelter. Through advocacy, empowerment, prevention, intervention, service and education The Crisis Center has helped over 15,000 women and children escape and overcome their abusive settings.
