The curious sixth graders at DSST's Aurora campus will be learning all about anatomy this spring! We would love for this unit to culminate with a very special dissection activity provided by the Downtown Aquarium of Denver. If this campaign is funded, the aquarium staff will visit our school and lead all 165 of our students through a fascinating, engaging dissection of squids! Our kids will be so excited to discover for themselves that squids have eight arms and THREE hearts! This opportunity would be inkredible (hopefully you enjoy squid puns as much as we do).
