$72,000 Goal

Since 1973, RiseUP (formerly Roundup Fellowship) has helped children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and neuro-diverse abilities build confidence, community, and independence across Colorado.

Through four core pillars — Residential Homes, RiseUP Academy (K-12 Day School), Supported Employment, and Adult Day Programs — we create spaces where every individual is valued, included, and empowered to thrive.

Our 2025 Colorado Gives Day Goal
This Colorado Gives Day, our goal is to raise $72,000 to fund essential needs that keep our programs strong and our participants connected to community:

  • $30,000 — New 12-Passenger Van for Denver Day Program

  • $15,000 — Exercise Room for Colorado Springs Day Program

  • $15,000 — Renovations for Meade House (Youth Residential Program in Colorado Springs)

  • $ 5,000 — Exterior Painting for Fortune House (Youth Residential Program in Colorado Springs)

  • $ 7,000 — Welcome & Branding Video for HR and Community Outreach

Every dollar helps RiseUP strengthen the programs, homes, and opportunities that allow individuals to live full, independent lives.

RiseUP: Rising Together. Thriving Forever.

Why Your Gift Matters

As Medicaid and Medicare funding structures continue to evolve, organizations like RiseUP must adapt to maintain the highest quality of care and opportunity for those we serve.

Thanks to strong leadership, dedicated staff, and community support, our essential programs remain stable and thriving — but continued investment is key to sustaining and enriching the quality of life our participants deserve.

Your gift directly supports that mission: funding renovations that make homes safer and more accessible, providing reliable vans that keep participants connected to work and friends, and enhancing spaces where individuals can learn, grow, and belong.

Giving Activity

Mission

Our mission is to inspire and empower people to thrive with customized support that meets the unique needs of each person, family, and community, one step at a time.

Background Statement

RiseUP (formerly Roundup Fellowship) was founded in 1973 by a group of caring community members who saw a need to serve children overlooked by traditional systems of care. What began as a few neighborhood homes for Denver youth has grown into a statewide network of inclusive residential, educational, and vocational programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In its early years, Roundup responded to national calls for deinstitutionalization by creating family-style homes where children with disabilities could live, learn, and grow within their communities. Over time, this commitment expanded to include adults with disabilities, ensuring that individuals of all ages had access to safe, supportive environments.

Today, under our new name, RiseUP continues this legacy with programs that promote independence, inclusion, and dignity. From classrooms to community workplaces, we design opportunities that empower people to discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and live full, connected lives.

At RiseUP, we believe that when we rise together, no one is left behind.
