For many Red Rocks students, cost is the biggest thing standing between them and a degree, a credential, or a new career. Since 1991, the Red Rocks Community College Foundation has worked to remove those barriers, so more students can start, stay, and succeed.

Why we fundraise

Red Rocks students include high schoolers earning their first college credits, recent graduates beginning a degree or transfer path, and adults coming back to school to build new careers. Many are balancing classes with jobs and families. A scholarship can reward hard work and make college affordable. An emergency grant or a stocked food pantry can help a student get through a hard week and finish the semester. Donor support keeps students moving forward, toward a degree, a transfer, or a career in our community's workforce.

Foundation scholarships are funded entirely by private donors like you.

Where your gift goes

• Scholarships: Recognizing achievement and helping students pay for tuition, books, and fees so they can focus on learning.
• Student support: The Student Emergency Fund, the Student Food Pantry, and the Children's Center help students through the moments that could otherwise derail them.
• Teaching excellence: Faculty programs such as the Endowed Teaching Chair support great teaching and new ideas in the classroom.
• Programs and facilities: Special projects, from the Trefny Honors Program to capital improvements, prepare students for tomorrow's careers.
• Where it's needed most: Flexible support for the students and programs with the greatest need.

The result: Students who are ready for the workforce, supported faculty and programs, and a college that helps keep our community healthy and our economy thriving.
