Donate to Lighthouse: get one of my favorite recipes

$415

$500 goal

When I'm not at Lighthouse or reading or trying my best to write, chances are you'll find me cooking and eating good food. So this year, for Colorado Gives Day, I'll post a link to a favorite recipe to social media for every time someone donates to my campaign for Lighthouse.

If discovering a new, delicious recipe isn't something that excites you, remember that your donation supports the essential work we do with writers of all ages and from all backgrounds. From our young writers programs in public housing to fellowships that help emerging writers work with nationally renowned authors, our programs help everyone tell their story. This year more than ever donations have helped make our programs accessible to those who've struggled through the pandemic, from expanded scholarships for advanced classes at Lit Fest to the free Daily Zoom classes we've offered to essential workers, I couldn't be prouder of the work Lighthouse has done in this difficult year.

(The above photo features me eating one of the only foods I haven't liked: a tripe sandwich in Florence)
