Testimonials

I am very grateful to PCEC for offering FREE Prostate Health Events in the state! My doctor's office wouldn't run a PSA test on me because I was under 50! So, I went to the PCEC website, which lists FREE men's health events and found an event in my area! Through this program, my cancer found found in the early stages! anonymous~

I attend PCEC's Men's Health Event at UCH every year in September! It's an awesome event, where I get over $700.00 dollars in FREE blood testing and I even get to consult with a Urologist! Douglas E, Centennial

I'm a Firefighter in Aurora, and we are at a higher risk to develop prostate cancer (among other cancers and diseases). Each year, PCEC has a Special event at our Fire Station to educate us on the disease and offer free blood testing, so I can be informed and know my numbers and be proactive with my health! Robert in Aurora~

Background Statement

The Prostate Conditions Education Council (PCEC) was founded in 1989, and is a non-profit 501-3c organization. A Colorado and national organization committed to men's health, PCEC is the nation's leading resource for information on prostate health. The PCEC is dedicated to saving lives through awareness and the education of men, the people in their lives, as well as the medical community about prostate cancer prevalence, the importance of early detection, and available treatment options, as well as other men's health issues. The Council - comprised of a consortium of leading physicians, health educators, scientists and prostate cancer advocates - aims to conduct nation wide screenings for men and perform research that will aid in the detection and treatment of prostate conditions.

As the founder and coordinator of the local and national Prostate Cancer Awareness Week (PCAW) Program, along with our Screening Site Partners, we have screened nearly five million men in Colorado and nationwide for the prostate disease and have become one of the largest and most successful health screening projects in the world.

PCEC is also the leader in increasing awareness and education on prostate disease through our SET the PACE Event Series, launched in 2001. Our education and awareness campaigns include a wide variety of forums and have expansive reach.
