Eligibility

  • Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Colorado who are 19 years or older.
  • $100 or more (excluding fees) donated to a single nonprofit on ColoradoGivesDay.org between 12:00:01 a.m. and 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Time on December 9, 2025.
  • One entry per email address. Winners will be notified using the email address they used when making their donation on ColoradoGivesDay.org.

Prize Details

  • 25 Southwest Airlines roundtrip tickets will be awarded to 25 randomly selected winners.
  • Winners will be randomly selected each hour from all donors who contribute $100 or more (regardless of whether or not donors choose to cover fees) on ColoradoGivesDay.org between 12:00:01 a.m. and 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Time on December 9, 2025, with a final bonus winner drawn at 12:00:00 a.m. Mountain Time on December 10, 2025 from all qualified donors during the 24-hour period. Entries are time-stamped from the time the donation is made on ColoradoGivesDay.org. The method of random selection will be computer-generated random number selection].
  • Winner notification: Winners will be notified by email no later than January 31, 2026.
  • Winning names (First Initial, Last Name), will be announced on Colorado Gives Foundation’s digital platforms, including social channels. Winners may be featured in marketing efforts as permitted by applicable law. 
  • In the event a prize is refused or is unclaimed within seven (7) days after email notification, a new name will be drawn and the winner contacted. The process will be repeated until the prize is accepted. 
  • Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize, the winner grants Colorado Gives Foundation permission to use his or her name, photograph, or likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation. Winners may be asked, but are not required, to participate in promotional activities beyond the use of their name and likeness.
  • Results of the drawing are final—there are no substitutions or exchanges or cash redemption allowed.
  • Odds of winning: Odds are determined by the number of entries.  
  • Prize redemption: Subject to Southwest Airlines' rules and seat availability. Winner is responsible for booking, taxes, and fees.
  • Prize conditions: Results are final and prize must be accepted as awarded. No prize substitutions or cash equivalents.
  • Tax information: Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. Prizes valued at $600 or more will be reported to the IRS, and winners will receive a Form 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC as required by law. Winners should consult their tax advisors regarding tax implications. Each ticket is valued at $400.
  • Employees and board members of Colorado Gives Foundation and their families are excluded from winning.
  • Colorado Gives Foundation assumes no responsibility for any property loss, damage, or personal injury resulting from any prize won.  
  • Colorado Gives Foundation is not responsible for entries that are not received due to issues with internet or telephone access.
  • Sweepstakes are void where prohibited.
  • By donating, participants agree to release and hold harmless Colorado Gives Foundation, Southwest Airlines, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents, and any and all other companies associated with this sweepstakes (collectively, the "released parties") from any and all liability, damages, or causes of action related to or arising out of (i) the sweepstakes, (ii) participant's participation in the sweepstakes, and (iii) the receipt or use or misuse of the prize(s) awarded herein and travel redeemed therewith. This release does not apply to claims arising from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of the released parties. In no event will the released parties be responsible for or liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of this sweepstakes, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
  • Each Donor agrees that (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the sweepstakes (other than disputes relating solely to air travel provided by Southwest Airlines, which shall be governed by the laws of Texas as set forth below) shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice of law provisions, and (ii) any disputes relating solely to the air travel provided by Southwest Airlines or the use thereof shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively governed bylaws the  of the State of Texas, with exclusive jurisdiction in the federal or state courts located in Dallas County, Texas. Any and all claims, judgments, and awards relating to the sweepstakes administration shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Southwest Airline travel e-passes can be distributed and redeemed for: 

Southwest Airlines flights (excluding taxes and fees) between Any Domestic City and Any Domestic City.  Valid for travel between Dec. 9, 2025 and Dec. 8, 2026.  

The e-pass includes two free checked bags, subject to size, weight restrictions, and additional bag fees. Additionally, you may carry on one bag and one personal item. Winners will receive a one-time use Southwest flight e-pass that can be redeemed for travel on Southwest Airlines. 

By accepting and/or redeeming the Southwest flight e-pass(es), you acknowledge the content of these Southwest flight e-pass Rules and Regulations and agree to abide by them.

  • Southwest Airlines reserves the right to change the Southwest flight e-pass Rules and Regulations at any time. 
  • The Southwest flight e-pass will bear the date of issue and the date of expiration. 
  • Expiration dates will not be extended, and travel must be completed on or before the expiration date. Southwest flight e-passes are void after the expiration date printed on them. The Southwest flight e-pass is valid for Southwest operated, published, scheduled service and is not valid on interline or codeshare service.
  • The Southwest flight e-pass is non-refundable and is not redeemable for cash or credit. The Southwest flight e-pass will not be replaced for any reason, including, without limitation, if lost, stolen, or fraudulently used. 
  • The Southwest flight e-pass is non-transferrable and cannot be sold to a third party.
  • Sale, auction, or re-tendering of the Southwest flight e-pass for money or otherwise is strictly prohibited. The Southwest flight e-pass may not be used for promotional purposes unless previously approved by Southwest. 
  • Any suspected fraud, misrepresentation, misuse, abuse or violation of the Southwest flight e-pass Rules and Regulations may result in cancellation of the Southwest flight e-pass(es). 
  • Each individual Southwest flight e-pass is valid for one-way travel. Two flight e-passes are required to book roundtrip travel. The recipient of a Southwest flight e-pass is required to be nineteen (19) years of age or older and a legal U.S. resident. However, the recipient of a Southwest flight e-pass may arrange travel for another person if done without selling or bartering this Southwest flight e-pass.
  • Passengers may inspect the full text of each incorporated term of the Contract of Carriage at Southwest’s airport or city ticket counters, and Passengers have the right, upon request at any location where Southwest’s tickets are sold, to receive free of charge by mail or other delivery service the full text of each such incorporated term.
