Testimonials

"Spend enough time around kids and you'll believe that there's hope for the world. Spend enough time around YouthEntity, and you may believe it transcends being about kids and becomes more of a template for how it would be nice to see entire communities function."
- Jay Cowan

"In today's age, most schools do not have classes to teach you how to be successful in life, how to achieve financial stability, or how to thrive in today's society. Having heard of Youthentity for the first time, I realized there are classes out there that would help me get ahead in life."
- Shion, 11th grader

"I liked learning about all of the things you taught us. My mom isn't the best at managing money, but I told her about some of the things you taught us and she thought it made sense. Especially the 10-10-10-70 principal."
- Teddy, 5th grader

"Financial literacy calls on several skills: ethics, consequences of your actions, and responsibility. Youthentity's "I Am Financial Knowledge" is not only a course in finances - it's a course in life."
- Paul Hilts, "I am financial knowledge." Program Manager

Mission

Youthentity provides financial literacy and career development for kids in grades 5-12, educating kids on professional career path options and responsible money management through hands-on interactive learning programs.

Background Statement

We started our journey into experiential learning in 2006 with our first "Build Your Own" peer workshop where students taught other students how to build their own desktop computer. Today, we provide real world learning experiences to youth to help prepare them for future success no matter what they want to be when they grow up. Youth in our programs develop financial knowledge, cultivate career readiness and employability skills, and gain leadership and project management skills. Our programs combine learning with practical, real world application - from participating in an architectural design proposal to completing a mini internship in veterinary medicine - and engage students in a unique way.
