Voices West

A nonprofit organization

Please help us bring the beauty and healing power of choral music to our community through our regular concert programming, special performances by our small group, Summit Sound, children's programming, and annual benefit concert to raise money for the music programs of underserved elementary schools.

We hope you'll consider making a recurring monthly donation. This sustaining support helps us be even more effective in planning and funding our choral activities throughout the year.

"Thank you for your generous donation to the Littleton Public Schools Foundation from the Voices West Benefit Concert designated for the music programs at East and Field Elementary Schools. Your gift will allow us to continue making an impact on education in Littleton Public Schools. As a longtime supporter of LPS, you are part of something truly special; a community dedicated to investing in the youth of today and the future of tomorrow. We are honored by the confidence you have placed in us; your financial contribution will be invested in the best place possible...our kids." -Beth Best, Executive Director, Littleton Public Schools Foundation

"Voices West's participation in our Memorial Day 'Salute to Veterans' tribute which has become a beloved tradition that the Littleton community looks forward to each year. Voices West's musical performances are always uplifting and bring joy to all. We look forward to hearing you again next year." April Crockett, Recreation Director, Ken-Caryl Ranch Metro District

"We love having Voices West come to Wide Horizon, as the quality of the music, their enthusiasm, and their willingness to share their music with us is sheer joy. When we have opportunity or occasion to have a group come in, Voices West is always at the top of our list. We hope they can continue to bring beautiful music and joy to people in nursing facilities as well as other venues, for a LONG time to come." Jan Dillingham, Activities/Volunteer Coordinator, Wide Horizon Nursing Home

"Summit Sound has a lovely blend of voices.  I could hear all the words clearly, and felt the programming was very good!  Thank you for your enjoyable concert!" -B.L., resident, RiverPointe Senior Living

It is the mission of Voices West to:

Bring hope and contribute to the well-being and vitality of our community through beautiful, diverse, and inspirational choral music;

Welcome the whole and authentic self of each person who sings with us and experiences our music so they are celebrated, valued, and nurtured; and

Support and promote choral music education in our community and schools, knowing that choral music is essential to humanity.

Background Statement

Voices West is an auditioned, all volunteer community choir with a 45-year history in Colorado.

The group was formed in 1978 as the Littleton Choral Society to give talented community members a chance to work together to present choral works in Arapahoe County. As the choir grew, the name was changed to The Littleton Chorale in 1998.

In 2013, to reflect the fact that our choir members and audiences are now drawn from communities up and down the Front Range, our name was changed to Voices West. We continue our tradition of vocal excellence, and community outreach to the seniors and school children in our community.
