Testimonials

We have been a Timberline Learning Center family since my youngest was a newborn. TLC uses the Reggio Emilia philosophy which teaches how capable, confident and competent children are from birth. This has not only greatly benefited the growth of my children, but has also benefited our family as a whole. The teachers are phenomenal and have graciously catered to the need of each individual child. Without a doubt, I know my children are better off for the care they received from an early start.

Timberline Learning Center gives our children the space to grow, learn, and excel each day. The staff provides fun and creative activities that are intentional in the skill development of young minds. It is an environment where our kids are able to be their silly, active, fun-loving selves and to connect with others all thanks to Timberline. The staff bring out the best in my children! We are grateful to the entire Timberline team.

We joined the Timberline community as our family was going through a tough time. They welcomed us and our 3 year old has been thriving there from the start. The teachers are wonderful and the facility provides an environment that really suits our daughter. We love that the teachers take the kids to explore the surrounding community -- from hikes and library visits to bus trips and gondola rides. Creativity flourishes among the children in this environment thanks to activities such as cooking, growing plants, and nature walks. We look forward to being a part of this community for years to come!

Timberline Learning Center has been an important partner for my husband and I as we raise our daughter. From her very first weeks of care at TLC, it was clear to us that her teachers had a genuine love and concern for her well-being. As she struggled to adapt to time away from family, they were empathetic and thoughtful about how to make her transitions more successful. She is now routinely excited to walk through her classroom door, knowing she is seen and loved by those who care for her throughout her day. We are thankful for the ways that she has been challenged to learn about the world around her, manage her emotions, and build relationships with her peers. While it's not easy for either one of us to lose out on time with her each week, we are so thankful that we have found a care provider that we trust deeply; one that enables us to pursue our careers and encourages her growth as an individual.

Is it strange to say that I want to be a TLC student?? My two kids have the best time at "school"! They are learning in leaps and bounds. They spend meaningful time outside day (hikes! field trips! bikes!) which is a stark contrast to the daycare we transitioned from in Salt Lake City. My very independent preschooler has learned teamwork, how to engage other kids in play, and how to let others take the lead. That's no easy feat! My two year old went from having some separation anxiety to now asking to go "back to school" as soon as we leave the parking lot. To say that TLC is a lifeline is an understatement. It's an extension of our family, and a home away from home. My partner and I both work full time, so our little ones are there every day. We simply could not live in Summit County without TLC. My kids are growing into kind, thoughtful, curious smarties in part because of the enriching environment at TLC. And my career is intact! From the administration team to the teachers, we have such love and appreciation for everyone there. I wish every family could enroll there and every staff person made six figures. Thank you TLC!!

Timberline Learning Center has exceeded all expectations for our family. We felt fortunate to have the opportunity to enroll in the fall of 2021 but we had no idea what an amazing place it is. To start, the staff at TLC is so kind and thoughtful. The teachers give us the rundown of each of our child's successes and challenges every day, clearly demonstrating that they have given them the utmost attention, patience, and grace. They are quick to recognize when our children are navigating difficult situations and guide them towards better choice making when these situations arise. Additionally, the staff go above and beyond to plan hikes, attend local events, introduce them to gardening, and other fun activities to keep them engaged. The facility is comfortable, charming and clean. As if facilitating childcare isn't already challenging, this last year of pandemic issues has shown how much the administration and staff care...

Mission
