Your gift provides immediate access to fresh food and supports the career pathways of our team of community leaders.
The GrowHaus is providing community-led food access, culturally responsive wellness initiatives, and leadership programs to 7,000 people per month at a time when 1 in 8 Coloradans are food-insecure, and new SNAP eligibility requirements are leaving thousands without benefits.
Your gift to The GrowHaus doesn’t just distribute fresh, nutritious food, it builds lasting community wealth and well-being through teen leadership programs and a continuum of Promotora-led (community health specialist) nutrition programs for people of all ages. Your support can transform uncertainty into sustenance, belonging, and community power.
Colorado Gives Day is The GrowHaus’ biggest fundraiser of the year. The success of our Colorado Gives Day Campaign helps establish programmatic budgets and determine the number of people we will be able to serve in the year ahead. This year, we have an ambitious goal to raise $70,000, and our most committed donors are matching the first 200 donations, up to $50,000!
Gifts of $250 or more come with a 25% Colorado Enterprise Zone income tax credit.

Background Statement
The GrowHaus is deepely imbedded within Denver's food insecure communities and has been a beacon of community resilience, leadership, and transformation since 2009.
Our community led team understands the intricate layers of food insecurity, so our approach transcends food distribution and addresses the root causes of food insecurity by providing education and economic opportunities for all.
Originally serving the Latino immigrant communities of Globeville, Elyria, and Swansea, The GrowHaus is sharing its expertise to expand fresh food access and is now managing 25 food access sites across the City of Denver via partnerships with Denver Public Libraries, Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Tepeyac Community Health Center, and other community hubs.
The GrowHaus connects 7,000 neighbors each month with fresh, culturally meaningful food. The reliability of fresh food bridges the nutrition gap and creates additional capacity for our neighbors to engage in other enriching wellness programming. Our Community Wellness and Engagement team leads home visits, multigenerational and youth education programs, and health and wellness classes throughout the year, fostering healthy habits and community connections.
