Seniors Resource Center, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Seniors Resource Center (SRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that enhances the independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults and their family caregivers.

Your gift this Colorado Gives Day — December 9 — helps SRC say yes to one more older adult, one more caregiver, one more neighbor who needs us. And this year, your generosity goes even further: every dollar you give helps unlock our $25,000 matching challenge, doubling your impact for the seniors and families who rely on us.

Every dollar supports vital programs like In-Home Care that helps older adults stay independent and our Adult Day Program that builds connection and belonging.

Here's what your generosity makes possible - before it's doubled:

Here's What People Have to Say about Seniors Resource Center

I feel like I’m thriving and aging successfully as a senior because of the quality of life they’ve given me – plus the respect they give me.”

Thank you to SRC staff for helping me with my Mom. Without y’all I would not have been able to work and care for my mom this past year. You are invaluable.

"My husband's remarks tell the story: 'I don't feel afraid or scared. They really know how to handle people.' As his wife of 58 years, I'm so thankful."

"This program is a godsend for me. I'm on a fixed income and SRC has helped me in a professional and loving manner. I will sing the praises of his program and recommend it to my friends. Simply the best for the resources they have. Please help fund this program."

Mission

Seniors Resource Center is a community partner providing person-focused, coordinated services to enhance independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults.

Our vision: Seniors Resource Center will ensure quality of life through a constellation of services, information, advocacy, and leadership, enabling our community members to age in the place they call home.

To accomplish this, SRC directs its unique, comprehensive, and integrated services delivery system to create effective and efficient partnerships and collaborations, avoid duplication of services, and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of underserved older adults and their communities.

Background Statement

SRC was founded in 1978 through efforts of community groups and individuals committed to having one centralized agency that could provide information and referrals for coordinated services to older adults and their families.

Seniors Resource Center has earned the distinction of being one of Colorado's most respected charitable organizations, serving seniors and their families with innovative, effective, and coordinated care for the specific needs of adults as they age. Over more than four decades, SRC has grown into a nationally recognized leader in senior services, serving older adults and their families in the Denver metro and beyond.

SRC coordinates services and referrals using a one-call approach that significantly improves access to the range of resources needed as individuals age. SRC is continually enhancing our services and growing our community partnerships in order to meet the growing needs of seniors, their families, and caregivers.

With the rapid growth of the older adult population in the Denver metro area over the last several years, the need for services has grown dramatically. As this need continues to grow, SRC remains committed to meeting the needs of older adults, their families, and caregivers now and into the future.
