Thanks to generous donors like you, the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre is the cornerstone of arts and culture

in Grand Lake and Grand County, in the mountains of Colorado.

Your gift to Rocky Mountain Rep ensures that each summer, Grand County residents and visitors can enjoy a compelling mix of musical theater shows, including classics such as A Chorus Line and West Side Story, as well as contemporary shows, like Come From Away and Mamma Mia!

Your support also allows us to provide education programming for youth ages 7-18 (divided into age-appropriate groups). Youth programming helps students grow their creative imagination and self-confidence through a variety of activities, while also encouraging collaboration, team-building, and supporting fellow students. In the long term, youth programming builds a pipeline of future theater enthusiasts.

Your gifts ensure that the very best theatrical artists from across the U.S. travel to Grand Lake each season to join our company. Many past Rocky Mountain Rep company members have gone on to perform in NYC Broadway shows, National Tours, and other first-rate regional theatre productions.

Will you help Rocky Mountain Rep continue its 57-year legacy of attracting the best theatrical professionals from around the country to perform in four acclaimed shows each season, as well as to deliver its life-changing youth education programs?

Thank you for considering a contribution to Rocky Mountain Rep,

on Colorado Gives Day 2024 and all year round!

None of this would be possible without you!

Mission

Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre's mission is to stimulate, inspire and cultivate a passion for the performing arts in Grand County, the state of Colorado and the nation through outstanding productions, education and outreach.

Background Statement

Donors like you have been the constant in Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s success over its 57-year history. In 1967, David and Audrey Thompson launched The Troupe of American College Players in Grand Lake, CO. In 1995, after a name change, The Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre (Rocky Mountain Rep) obtained its initial nonprofit 501(C)(3) status, bringing theatre back to Grand County. They began building a loyal patron base, offering musical theatre classics while operating in the Grand Lake Community House.

In June 2011, Rocky Mountain Rep opened the doors of a new 297-seat theatre. Since that time, Rocky Mountain Rep has experienced tremendous successes - being named "Colorado's Premier Summer Musical Company" by the Denver Post and receiving a Henry Award from the Colorado Theatre Guild for outstanding regional theatre for the 2014 season. After celebrating a 50th Anniversary in 2017, Rocky Mountain Rep continues to offer performing arts and cultural excellence in the Grand Lake area by presenting classic and contemporary Broadway musical productions featuring professional actors, musicians, and top production designers from across the nation -- a formula that has established Rocky Mountain Rep as a vibrant and influential arts organization in Grand County, CO and the surrounding region.

Thank you for your past giving and for considering a gift today!
