The Weld Legacy Foundation (formerly the North Colorado Medical Center Foundation, or NCMC Foundation) is currently fundraising for many hospital initiatives and projects impacting our community including cancer, pediatrics, visually impaired, cardiovascular, pulmonary, trauma and continued education.
The Weld Legacy Foundation promotes excellence in health and education in Weld County.
Since 1975, the Weld Legacy Foundation - one of the oldest and largest hospital foundations in Colorado - has partnered with North Colorado Medical Center to raise more than $50 million in program support for hospital expansion and renovation projects, the purchase of specialized medical equipment and technological upgrades to benefit patient care, and provide scholarships for aspiring healthcare professionals as well as educational opportunities for NCMC staff. The Foundation's fund development activities include special events, major gifts, cultivation and solicitation, planned giving, direct mail, online giving and memorial and honoring gifts.

"The Weld Legacy Foundation has a long-standing history of supporting healthcare programs in the community. Through our generous donors, Weld Legacy Foundation raises funds to assist North Colorado Medical Center with department needs, continuing education for staff, and provides support for qualifying patients with living costs whild they are undergoing treatment at NCMC. I enjoy serving on the Weld Legacy Foundation Board which improves patient support and care in our community."
