The mission of Love INC of Littleton is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.
Love In the Name of Christ offers a holistic approach to caring for people in all areas of life: spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, material, and physical. Love INC seeks to be the eyes and ears in the community, while local churches are the hands and feet – serving our community with love.
We work cooperatively with churches, nonprofit agencies and county services (including Jefferson, Arapahoe and Douglas counties) to provide help and hope in our community.
Love INC of Littleton is a local affiliate of the national Love INC movement, which includes 115 affiliates in over 30 states along with some international locations. Love INC of Littleton was founded in 2006 and began serving the community in 2008, receiving its first call to the Clearinghouse (aka Helpline) on October 29th of that year. From that point on, when resource gaps were identified in the community, Love INC worked with partner churches to create ministries to fill those gaps. Current ministries include transportation, food delivery, diaper programs, a resale store, furniture delivery, and life coaching.
In 2017, Love INC of Littleton expanded the Connection Center and Gap Ministries to create a comprehensive transformational ministry program called IMPACT. This is a long-term (6-18 months), relational program for participants and their families. Each week participants enjoy a healthy family meal together, have children's programs for their kids and youth, take life skills classes, and meet with life coaches as they work toward setting and achieving goals. IMPACT participants discover a community who cares about them and shares Christ's love with them. IMPACT volunteers walk alongside participants as they make positive changes for themselves and their families.
In 2023 Loe INC expanded the resale store, Renewed Treasures. From concept to fundraising to completion, this transformation took just eight months! The bigger and better store is truly a treasure, providing a sense of community and joy for all who enter. And the expanded space allows Love INC to serve more of the community while keeping gently-used goods out of the landfill, and offering more clothing and kitchen items to neighbors in need through the voucher program.
Love INC of Littleton currently partners with 43 local churches and serves areas of Jefferson, Arapahoe, and Douglas Counties. Love INC is intentionally relational and strives to help everyone--clients, participants and volunteers--achieve their God-given potential.
