Mission

To strengthen and protect the La Alma Lincoln Park neighborhood by elevating resident voice, supporting local businesses, preserving cultural heritage, and advancing equitable community development.

Background Statement

La Alma Lincoln Park is one of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods, with deep Chicano, Indigenous, working-class, and artistic roots. As development pressure increases in central Denver, long-term residents and legacy businesses face growing displacement risk.

The Neighborhood Association works to ensure that public and private investment benefits the people who already call this community home. Through organizing, advocacy, and partnerships, we seek practical, enforceable solutions that promote stability, opportunity, and long-term neighborhood resilience.
