Mission

Inner City School's mission is to provide academic excellence, spiritual enrichment and character development to equip children with the skills, values and self-discipline necessary to become successful and productive members of society.

Background Statement

Inner City School was formed in 1996 to help children living in inner city Denver gain better opportunities in life. The founders, made up of a cross-cultural team of pastors, businessmen, and community members, were concerned with the growing rate of academic failure and high school dropouts. Our founders envisioned a faith-based, culturally relevant, academic success program that would allow disadvantaged children to reach their highest potential.
