Impact Finance Center's mission is to identify, educate, and activate impact investors, develop the replicable and scalable community infrastructure for them to learn, connect, and invest, and unlock full spectrum, catalytic capital to benefit people and the planet.

Background Statement

Impact Finance Center (IFC) is a nonprofit academic center founded in 2012 to accelerate the flow of capital to social and environmental good. Much like startup accelerators, IFC identifies, educates, and activates individuals and organizations to become effective impact investors. Our flagship initiative, CO Impact Days and the Impact Investing Institute, launched in 2015, helped catalyze over $260 million in direct impact investments and built the nation’s first statewide marketplace for impact investing. Through over 170 presentations and courses reaching more than 5,000 participants, we are laying the foundation for a National Impact Investing Marketplace — creating new pathways for people to align their investments with their values and drive lasting change.
