HeartLight Center

A nonprofit organization

Welcome to HeartLight Center. Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide meaningful, accessible grief support and education. As we participate in Colorado Gives Day, we invite you to join us in the hopes of providing comfort and community for those navigating the difficult journey of grief.

Our Impact: Over the years, HeartLight has grown to become a vital resource for the Denver community and beyond. With over 10 in-person support groups in Denver, 7 virtual groups, 3 monthly support groups in New Mexico, and 4 monthly support groups on the Western slope, we've extended our reach to ensure that grief support is readily available to all who need it. Our diverse range of groups allows us to connect with individuals in various locations and circumstances, fostering a sense of community and understanding.

Beyond Support Groups: HeartLight goes beyond traditional support groups, offering numerous workshops, educational signature series, and specialized training for professionals. These programs provide valuable tools and insights for coping with grief, fostering resilience, and promoting healing. By donating to HeartLight, you contribute to the continuation and expansion of these crucial services.

Reasons to Donate:

  1. Accessibility: Your donation ensures that our grief support services remain accessible to anyone in need, regardless of location or financial means.

  2. Community Connection: Grieving can be an isolating experience, but your support helps us create and maintain a strong, compassionate community where individuals can find understanding and solace.

  3. Educational Resources: Your contribution enables us to develop and provide educational programs that empower individuals to navigate the complexities of grief and build resilience.

  4. Expansion of Services: With your support, we can continue to expand our reach, offering support groups and educational initiatives in new regions to help even more people on their journey through grief.

  5. Professional Training: By donating, you invest in the training of professionals, ensuring that those who work with grieving individuals are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide effective support.

As we come together on Colorado Gives Day, let's illuminate the path of healing for those facing the challenges of grief. Your generosity enables HeartLight Center to be a source of comfort, understanding, and guidance for individuals and families when they need it most. Join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of those navigating the difficult terrain of grief.

Heartlight has been an enormous help to me on my grief journey.
It helped with coping strategies.
It helped me learn that I'm not alone…that others feel the way I feel.
I have made new friends who are on a grief journey as well and we all help each other.
The journey is often "one day at a time….one foot in front of the other" and I could not do it without Heartlight.

The HeartLight Center is an invaluable resource when dealing with any type of loss; there is none like it in our community. I support HeartLight Center in order to pass on the blessing I have received, knowing how much it means to have a safe, caring community you can count on during a time of significant need."

HeartLight Center provides meaningful and accessible grief support and education.
