We are a nonprofit, donation-based organization that strives to foster and promote the history of Broomfield, to interpret Broomfield’s story within a larger context and to enrich community identity.

Our organization of community volunteers promotes Broomfield’s history through projects and activities including:

We are already working hard to celebrate many important anniversaries in 2026: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the 150th anniversary of Colorado's statehood, the 65th anniversary of Broomfield being designated a city, and 25 years of Broomfield being designated a county. Your donation will help us celebrate these milestones through a wide variety of activities, including historical talks and community events.
