Since 1972, Foothills Gateway, Inc. has improved the lives of thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Foothills Gateway, Inc. is an organization that believes in listening to people. We believe in building respectful and trusting relationships between the individuals and families we support, as well as our employees, volunteers, and agency leaders.
Case Management services include: Early Intervention Service Coordination, Children's Home & Community Based Services, Children's Extensive Supports, Family Support Services, Supported Living Services, Adult DD Services, and Housing Choice vouchers.
Direct services offered include: Community Skills Development, Specialized Habilitation Services, Transportation, Direct Supported Living Services, Supported Employment, Adult Care Services (respite), Residential Services, Early Intervention services, Children's Extensive Support services, and behavioral services.

Foothills Gateway, Inc. (FGI) was established in 1972 though a merger of the Foothills Activity Center in Loveland and the Easter Seals Gateway Center in Fort Collins. Originally named the Foothills Gateway Rehabilitation Center, services at that time were provided to 65 individuals in the areas of education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services, and a sheltered workshop.
Renamed Foothills Gateway, Inc, the agency is now one of twenty Community Centered Boards in Colorado providing case management services to over 2,900 individuals in northern Colorado. In addition, FGI provides direct-care programs to a large number of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families annually.
