In Colorado, 1 in 4 households struggles to meet their basic household energy needs. This energy insecurity can mean reducing or going without food or medicine to pay utility bills, leaving homes at unhealthy temperatures, or even facing disconnection.

Energy Outreach Colorado leads a network of industry, state and local partners to Support, Stabilize and Sustain Coloradans to afford their energy needs. We believe everyone deserves affordable access to the vital resources that power their homes.
Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) is the only statewide non-profit that raises funds to help low-income Coloradans afford their home energy so they can remain safe at home.
Through a range of support services that include resources to pay home energy bills, lower energy costs, and gain access to new energy technologies and sustainable energy sources, EOC works with individuals, nonprofit organizations, and multifamily properties that serve low-income individuals and families.
Since being established in 1989, EOC has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for energy bill payment assistance, furnace repairs and replacements, energy education, and efficiency programs to lower energy costs and use.
EOC provides energy services to tens of thousands of households annually, reinforcing our commitment to positively impacting our most vulnerable neighbors. 1 in 4 Coloradans struggle to afford their home energy, and this year EOC has seen a significant increase in the number of requests for help. EOC is determined to expand efforts even further to tackle energy insecurity and systemic barriers to achieve energy affordability faced by income-deficient Coloradans.
