Colorado’s Pikes Peak Region faces a cultural and educational gap in accessible, high-quality dance programming, especially for youth and individuals with limited access to the arts. As the region grows, the need for inclusive, enriching experiences becomes increasingly vital to ensure all residents have opportunities to engage with the performing arts.

Your donation will directly help us
Promote movement as a fundamental form of creative expression and enrich the community through dance appreciation, creation, and education.
Provide opportunities to the community to connect and explore the art of dance via performances, movement exploration classes, masterclasses, and after-school and summer camp programs.
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Colorado Springs and the oldest presenter of professional dance in the Pikes Peak Region. Founded in 1977 as Colorado Springs Dance Theatre, the organization has presented over a hundred of the nation’s top companies.
Now, under our new name, Dance Alliance of the Pikes Peak Region, we provide programs for our community to connect and explore the art of dance by bringing world-class dance companies to perform; supporting young dancers through scholarships, masterclasses, and performances; expanding access to live professional dance performances for middle and high school students through our PIVOT Program; partnering with local studios to provide dance education via in-school, after-school dance club, after-school workshop, and summer camp programs to underserved schools.
