Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance

A nonprofit organization

We’re here for Colorado crime victims

The Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA) helps individuals impacted by crime through a range of supportive programs. We offer direct services, financial support, and connections to other service providers within our broad network of professionals dedicated to helping crime victims.

We’re here for crime victim advocates

For 40 years, COVA has been a statewide hub for crime victim advocates seeking best practices in supporting survivors. These services include training, professional certifications, access to emergency funds for victims, and an internship program that builds a foundation for the next generation of crime victim advocates.

"Going to the COVA Conference showed me that there are people who have harder lives than people think and sometimes they need someone to talk to and comfort them and I met a great group of people who commit their lives to do that." -Community member

"I want to thank you for assisting me with my stay in Colorado Springs so that I may attend the trial of the individual who took my Son Kevin's life! This is a very stressful time in my life and your organization has helped to relieve some of that stress for me and as I said I "THANK YOU" so very much...it is a blessing to know that there are individuals such as yourselves out there to assist people in a time of need!" - Survivor
