Tennis teaches the skills a young person takes off the court and into life.
Since 1961, the Colorado Youth Tennis Foundation (CYTF), the charitable arm of USTA Colorado, has been helping youth discover not just the game of tennis, but their own strength, character, and potential. Over the years, tens of thousands of young people across Colorado have had their lives impacted by the opportunities the CYTF provides.
Tennis is more than a sport. It’s a powerful teacher – building confidence, resilience, and respect while inspiring kids to work hard, dream big, and support one another. The lessons learned on the court carry into classrooms, friendships, families, and futures.
Yet for too many kids, the chance to play is out of reach. Cost and access create barriers that can shut the door before a child ever picks up a racquet. The CYTF exists to open that door, ensuring that every young person, no matter their background, family income, or zip code, has the opportunity to experience the game and all it offers.
Through individual scholarships, grants to community programs, and USTA Colorado SERVES, the CYTF makes tennis accessible for kids. On every court, the game becomes a place of growth, confidence, and endless possibility.
