$10,000 Goal

Colorado Gives Day (December 9) is quickly approaching! It is a time when we come together as a community and support nonprofit organizations.

Early giving begins November 1, and every gift between November 1 and midnight on December 9 accelerates the financial goal of the Colorado Symphony Guild to make a larger contribution live symphonic music.

Every dollar donated to the Guild goes to support the Colorado Symphony which is celebrating its 102st anniversary this year.

Our Guild has been part of the Annual Fund Donor list to the Colorado Symphony every year since 1935!  We are the only organization or individual listed as a Platinum Chairman's Society donor of giving more than $50,000!

Help us maintain our level of generosity by contributing to Colorado Gives for the Colorado Symphony Guild!  We appreciate your help in this important effort!

Testimonials

Dear Members of the Colorado Symphony Guild,

On behalf of the entire Colorado Symphony Association, I am honored to extend my heartfelt thanks for your continued commitment and exceptional support. As the newly appointed President & CEO, it is a privilege to join this extraordinary organization and community, and to witness firsthand the passion and dedication of the Guild.

Your generous donation of $75,500 this past season, along with countless volunteer hours, speaks volumes about your unwavering belief in the power of music. The Guild’s efforts make a tangible difference in everything we do, from groundbreaking performances on stage to the educational and outreach programs that connect us more deeply with our community. Every note played and every memory made is possible only because of partners like you who understand the importance of the arts in our society.

Coming off a season that saw incredible artistry from the likes of Itzhak Perlman, Cynthia Erivo, and Augustin Hadelich, we are charting a bold course into the Symphony’s next chapter. With your partnership, we are inspired to dream bigger, reach further, and build a future that honors the legacy of the past while embracing innovation and inclusivity.

Please know that your steadfast support is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated by our musicians, staff, and board members. Thank you for standing with us and for all that you do to champion the arts in Colorado.

With sincere gratitude,

Daniel Wachter
President & CEO, Colorado Symphony Association

Mission

According to our Articles of Incorporation the Colorado Symphony Guild was organized to "support the symphony the Symphony monetarily and with in-kind services; to foster and encourage musical appreciation, knowledge and participation of the membership and public." We have done so for the past ninety-one (91) years.

Our all volunteer organization's Colorado Gives Day fundraising goal is $10,000.

Our organization of 98 men and women is proud to support The Colorado Symphony through fundraising activities, supporting and sponsoring music programs and seminars for adults, donating funds for the purchase of music scores for the orchestra, and by volunteering in support capacities for the Colorado Symphony and Symphony Administration.

We are especially proud of our financial support for the Symphony Kids Concerts which bring the joy of classical music to school children throughout the Denver-Metro area.

Donations to the Symphony in recent years:

May of 2023 $68,498 donated to the Symphony

May of 2024 $84,000 donated to the Symphony

May of 2025 $75,500 donated to the Symphony

Each year we do an "in kind" donation of more than a 1000 hours to the Colorado Symphony yearly.

Background Statement

The Colorado Symphony Guild, Inc. was born in 1935. At that time, there were three orchestras in the Mile High City. Our organization would serve as a helpmate, not only in fundraising but as nurturer of an image of great music presentation and creation of future audiences from the youth of the city. Through the years the Guild sponsored various campaigns for support of the Symphony.

In addition to its fundraising activities, the Guild is now contributing via its Golden Circle memorial and honorary gifts program for the purchase of new music, music folders and additional supplies for the symphony and additional materials to assist with distributing music scores.
