A calm clarity exists on the trail, one that has become a rare commodity in our modern society. It's invaluable to the development of young minds, hearts, and bodies, a true 'moment of zen' in action during the era of 24-hour bad news bombardment. Yet the trail often exists as an abstract, something too scary or inaccessible to be of value for today's students.

Sometimes all it takes to change those young lives is an invitation.

The Colorado High School Cycling League has not only opened the door to the trails for thousands of student-athletes over its 17-year history, it has also built pathways to encourage those student-athletes and their families to build new doors, and new trails, to change lives every day of the year. The League is a path to clarity and health for student-athletes and everyone who supports them.

We invite you to become one of those invaluable supporters.

THE LEAGUE'S YOUTH DEVELOPMENT — YEAR-ROUND

Since 2009, the Colorado High School Cycling League has developed effective processes that encourage student-athletes, families, coaches, teams, and communities across Colorado, South Dakota, New Mexico, and Wyoming to connect with each other, empower each other on and off the racecourse, and strengthen a deep love of the outdoors.

The League is a year-round membership organization that provides exceptional and detailed coach training and certification, team support, our signature fall mountain bike race series, and the official Colorado High School State Championship for mountain biking.

  • Research shows positive sports experiences as a young person can develop the whole child and contribute to success as an adult.
  • By giving today, we can help all Colorado youth experience the joys and benefits of playing sports.
  • Every kid in Colorado deserves a shot at success. Playing sports with trained coaches who are focused on the right goals sets kids up for success.

HOW YOUR DONATION MAKES AN IMPACT

  • Expand Programs.
In just the last few years, The League has expanded its programs to include middle school racers through our Middle School Mayhem program; honed its targeted instruction through its Girls Love Dirt annual event; and connected students with college recruiters through its College Day program. Your donation helps The League develop even more year-round programs that enrich student-athletes' lives on and off the bike.
  • Provide Financial Assistance.
In addition to waived registration fees through scholarships, The League developed the Bike Library Program in 2026 in partnership with Yeti Cycles and The Pros' Closet. This program puts brand new bicycles in the hands of student-athletes for the entire race season, free of charge. Your donation helps The League create more programs like The Bike Library to empower riders from all walks of life to enjoy and engage with the outdoors and lowers the financial barrier to entry.
  • Train Coaches.
The League's coaches are gold. They work closely with every student-athlete on and off the bike to provide skills development and life guidance. On top of that, The League provides best-in-class coach training to ensure they are prepared to provide the highest safety and quality mentorship for our youth. Your donation expands and codifies our coach training program for longterm stability and growth.
  • Support Competitions and Year-Round Events.
If you haven't attended one of our race weekends, you're in for a treat. Our exceptional full-time staff takes on all the complexities of event organization and creates a seamlessly fun, exciting, and safe atmosphere for our student-athletes, their families, and community members. Your donation helps us not only continue that exceptional race atmosphere, but also expand other program offerings throughout the year.
