Since 1972, CCMOW has had the privilege of bringing nutritious meals and daily check-ins to neighbors facing hunger and isolation, so they can stay safe and cared for in the homes they love. Many are also carrying more than any one person should: health challenges, rising medical costs, limited mobility, unstable housing, or no one nearby to lean on. We serve anyone at risk, with no age or income requirements, across Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Superior, and the Carbon Valley.
This August, thanks to The Weld Trust, we began delivering in Firestone, Frederick, and Dacono. Every day, we’re meeting new Carbon Valley neighbors, and it’s an honor to serve them.
At the same time, rising costs and uncertainty around SNAP mean more neighbors are reaching out to us, and fewer are able to contribute toward their meals.
None of this happens without you. Your kindness is what puts a warm meal in a neighbor’s hands and a familiar knock at their door. We’re so grateful you’re part of this, and we’d be honored to have your support as we care for every neighbor who needs us.

Coal Creek Meals on Wheels (CCMOW) was established in 1972 to deliver nutritious meals and social connection to our neighbors in Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Superior, and the Carbon Valley. In 2025, we served over 60,000 meals, and we are on track to surpass that number in 2026. CCMOW supports hundreds of local residents through the following programs: Our Meal Delivery, Coal Creek Café, Plates for Pets, Kids Summer Meals, and Grab and Go programs.
