CCASA Super Advocates: Unite for a Safer Colorado
The Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA) was founded almost four decades ago as the voice of rape crisis centers. With your help, CCASA now supports advocates from all over Colorado in the fight against sexual violence. You have made it possible for us to provide the latest trainings to our members, informative resources for the community, and a voice for policy and systems change.
Your donation helps CCASA create safe roads for survivors to travel on their healing journey. Your donation guarantees that advocates get the training they need to help survivors. Your donation gives CCASA's policy team the ability to push survivor-friendly legislation and fight bills that harm survivor healing. Your donation offers solace to survivors when they need it the most.
"It takes a village to do this work. Some of us are emergency responders, and some of us make sure we have all the tools we need in our toolbox. CCASA fills the toolbox and makes sure the tools are working."
"Without CCASA, my ability to be aware of, learn, and forward information essential to serving victims of sexual assault in a timely would be extremely challenging."
The Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA) provides leadership, advocacy, and support to address and prevent sexual violence. Our vision is for Colorado communities to promote safety, justice, and healing for survivors and foster healthy, respectful, consensual interactions.
CCASA was founded in 1984 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit to be the collective voice of rape crisis advocates across the state of Colorado. Today, our membership includes over 100 sexual assault survivors, victim advocates, rape crisis centers, dual domestic violence and sexual assault programs, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, public health agencies, college and university campuses, medical professionals, offender treatment programs, public officials, as well as other organizations and concerned individuals throughout Colorado.
